Fast Food In Tibet

During reading over the last week we have been reading a book called Fast Food In Tibet. This book is telling us about what fast food they make. One of there foods they make often when they don't live in the city or town is tsampa. Tsampa is a tip of bread they you can just pick off when they are hunger.
                                    If you want too make some here is the ingredients:

Flour
chesse
sugar
melted butter 
hot water or black tea 

You will need all the ingerdients up the top. Then you will need to get a bowl a big pan.
Pour all the ingredients in a bowl then stir with your hands.
Make in to a ball with your hands and wait till it goes hard
Then it will be ready too eat.

Kapa Haka

Yesterday afternoon the whole school went to Invercargill to do ployfest 2013. We all had a great time. Josh said the polyest was good Omea said we were amazing. I like the haka we were pretty loud well we more than loud.

Chocolates

This term we are selling chocolates. We are fundraising for our camps. The year 7s are going to Tautuku and the year 6s are going to Queenstown. I cant wait to go to camp this year.

Speechs

Over the last couple of weeks we have bee doing our speech we are presenting them next week. i am going to be presenting my speech. 

Child Slavery

Right at this moment all around the world there are 215 million children working. They do not go to school or have no or little time to play. 215 million kids aged 5 to 17 are slaved. Child Slavery refers to the slavery of children at a young age. This means that they are owned by another person he or she has too work. In the past many children have been sold into slaver in older for their family to repay debts or crims. Do you think it is fair that people they don’t know and have to work in these conditions owe children

 Firstly… 

 Children who are slaves have to work in bad conditions. They live in sheds, dens, getting no food nothing. They put their health, education, personal social development and lives at risk. Many children suffer injury they carry heavy loads of fruit or bricks. Children work in factories with no pay instead they revceive beatings. 

 Secondly… 
 Did you know about the disease they can catch by working these are some of the deadly disease they catch many types of cancer such as lung cancer from rolling up smokes and inhaling the smoke from factories. 

Thirdly… 
Your nebouris might be beating your kids up and they say nothing but if you beat up there kids they will some something. Right now kids have to sweep, clean and cook for thier masters. Would you like it if you hade to clean and sweep?

  Conclusion… 

 So in conclusion that’s why I think we should put and end too Child Slavery from all the beatings they get. Remember that child slaves live in very bad conditions. They can catch deadly diseases that can kill them. Don’t forget that Children that are slaves aren’t getting fed and are sleeping on concrete. Thank you for listing to my speech.
